the trees are beautiful here in georgia. autumn is always a great season...

we all have our moments of wondering where the time goes... for me, i've been wondering this pretty consistently for years. i've experienced great joy and happiness. i have also undergone many changes, but these changes, i believe are of growth and learning. the time has gone by so fast for the past couple of years and i feel a mix of every emotion you can think of. i am happy, sad, angry, calm, accomplished, unsatisfied, frustrated, organized, lightheaded, lighthearted, unprepared, and ready.

me completely redesigning the website is the immediate form of my expression/feelings that i can share to you. i am pretty happy with the results so i hope you like it. it may seem a bit dark, but regardless of how you view it, it is more of a transformation for me. it is my mind and heart trying to find peace and simplicity. as you can see on the bottom left of the page, i have added music for you to hear. i feel this is appropriate because music makes me feel so good sometimes and i want to share it with you. click here for more info.

i have some new projects that i completed and i finally have the chance to post them on the site. in addition to my collaboration with celso called free, there is a new issue of stolshsb and a completely new project called the art of smelling and feeling paper. please check them out!

now on to taar #4 (the anatomic air review). i completely finished it (printed them and all), but as i was preparing to package them and get ready to ship them, my girlfriend breaks up with me. this made a big turn in my life and i moved out in a matter of days. pretty pathetic, huh? especially with all the moments i've mentioned her in the zine... i can't not just send the damn zine, but there are some things that i need to do before i send it out to everyone... so the delay just keeps increasing... sigh...
oh, and for those of you who don't know what taar is, it is personal zine i send out to everyone on the mailing list.

i have also made some updates on the trading network. i have printed pamphlets to hand out for free!! these "pamplets" list all the trades available so far. please visit the site to see how you can get a hold of a bunch for free to help distribute it! please join and help... keep the submissions coming!

new merchandise is also available! i have printed up some cool posters you should check out.

it's been awhile, huh? well, i'm finally here! i guess i'm pretty notorious about pushing dates back, but i never stop thinking about my goals with anatomic air. it has been pretty frustrating lately because i just started school again (taking 5 freakin classes)... just thinking about everything that i want and need to do and juggling it all with the little time i have, it makes me sad and frustrated... but i know i shouldn't be like that. i need to suck it up and just do the best i can. it is all about time management, and i'm trying my best... please bear with me...

on with the updates: as you can see, major updates on the site! thanks to katie watson for letting me use her beautiful photo as the background image for this site. i think it goes very well with anatomic air press. for future updates, i would like to interchange the background photo more often, to keep the site visually refreshing and to give photographers a chance to show their work.

one of the biggest news that i'm happy to bring to you is about a new project!!! yay! it is called "free" and it's a collaboration with celso (with celso zine). he is an awesome artist! we are very excited to present this to the world. please read more info about it here.

other updates on the site include 15 new zine reviews! check them out. other awesome new things: a new guestbook layout! please do sign. another new thing to check out: i made a little website for those stickers i made... cccc stickers. the usual updates for the trading network. thank you to all the new people who signed up!

new projects i am finishing up and will have available soon: stolshsb and the art of smelling and feeling paper.

update on TAAR (the anatomic air review): i've been beating myself up trying to finish the new issue of taar (#4). i then decided to breathe and not be so hard on myself because there is no need to rush! the new issue is about 75% complete! it will be soon that i will mail it out, but it might not be until september... it is more important for me to try to get free out there to the world first...

i've moved many times in the past few months, but i hope this new house means i'm gonna be settling down for awhile... many things have been going on in my life, and yes, i'm working on some great projects i can't wait to share with you within the next few months...

after a lot of thinking, i've decided to bring the distro to an end. all the remaining zines in stock will be sold physically at beep beep gallery in atlanta, georgia. this was a hard decision, but i need to concentrate on other projects! the reviews section will of course still be up... in fact, it will be updated regularly. there are 10 new zine reviews! check them out!

a guestbook has been added for the trading network.

that is all for now... talk to you again soon...

it feels like i've been gone for a long time, but it hasn't really been that long. i've been so distracted lately. i need to get back on track cos i'm very behind. for those who actually anticipate projects from anatomic air press, sorry to make you wait. i'm slowly getting back to my ways of smelling things...... what do i mean by that, you ask? well, as some of you know, i'm obssessed with smelling books, magazines, and such... today, i found myself sitting in my room obssessively smelling a magazine and thought to myself: "it has been awhile since i've been able to do this...", which means i'm able to do a little creative thinking again. yeah, you probably think it's weird, but its true... i smell your zines while sitting in my quiet room alone when i'm thinking about anatomic air press and everything within it... hope you haven't forgotten about me, cos i certainly haven't forgotten about you...

my dear friend joe, a charming and wonderful artist, has something he would like to share. "shooting" is his first publication which consists of drawings: a collection of images from his sketchbook gathered together to communicate in a way that only images can. each issue is 32 pages, half size (a little smaller than 5.5 x 8.5). you can buy it right here! click on "et al" on the menu... issue #1 and #2 are $3 ppd each. each copy is independently made with love by joe... prepare to be mesmerized.

new updates are currently being made to make the site easier to navigate since new content is constantly being added! (especially for the "publication review" page)... so look out in the near future for your viewing pleasure.

i feel like i haven't completed what i wanted so far, but instead of being so hard on myself, there are many positive things to look at.

as far as projects that i've planned to complete before this year is over, they are in the works, but at a slow process at the moment.

just completed: the anatomic air review (issue two).
in the works in specific order: small tasks of labour suit her slender bones (volume two), polydistortion, etaroballoc, and smelling trees (issue two).

on top of that, anatomic air press will be publishing a book by a friend named weo. i am also publishing ultima thule #3 by melle. this will be the second printing. first printing was done by melle herself. thanks to weo and melle for allowing me to reprint your work! expected release: ? (hopefully, before 2007)

anatomic air press now has a myspace page. never really cared about myspace too much, but since everyone is on it, i figured i'll do some self-promotion and networking. check it out.
